AEF joked about me being a redneck in the pic thread. I joked and told him he was typecasting. He said I have a nice 'do rag. I said that's not all I have. He joked and said "I'm always right"
I took that as an opportunity to engage in yet another spirited crossing of intellectual swords and told him he only THINKS he's right.
He took exception and fired back a well thought out retort, I thrusted, he parried, I started a new thread and then it got real good.
AEF's not one of boxer's favourite folk, but the Vanilla Gorilla is. So box waded in here and told he was pompous, Cotton asked him if he ever STFU, called him some names then posted a pic that REALLY ruffled his feathers, and Cotton got popped for breaking the rules because AEF tattled to Admin (I would have, too)
AEF said "enough of this shit" and bailed on the thread and the forum.
Meanwhile, I PM'd AEF and said, among some other heartfelt things, "No way, Jose - I ain't letting you go out like this" and he said, to his credit, "When you're right you're right" and admitted to being hardheaded yet strong in his convictions, apologized to Cotton for some otherwise well-deserved neg rep, and the beat goes on.
Oh, plus it's Sneakiecat's birthday. Be sure to head over to her b-day thread that PP started.
