Can we stick to the topic of discussion in this thread instead of straying and digging out threads which was posted here some 8 months ago.

The thread isn't eight months old, it's not even two months old yet.

The thread is relevant because in that post you instruct everybody to look in the mirror before making comments about Singapore's human rights record. In that same thread, the people debating you did just that and reflected on the condition of human rights in the United States. However, in that thread, you refused to do the same and merely dismissed numerous valid points about Singapore's human rights record that were brought up. You are doing the same thing in this thread. Once again, that's why the two threads are similar.

Yeah, I watched it. The most notable thing I saw was video shot of a young cadet slouching in her seat and smacking chewing gum while the President spoke. I thought to myself, "If this is representative of America's future leadership, then we're in deep ****."

Personally I'd prefer a government who all chew gum than one that discriminates against people for who they are but hey, thats just me.
