how about embracing our differences? holding a door open for a lady, men opening the jar of pickles, stuff like that.

do we really want to see a lot of similation between the sexes? do we really want an androgenous society?

I always hold the door open for someone, specially if they have their hands busy and I don't mind the gender. I think it's about being polite.
Women and men are different (and the differences will always be there) but we are human beings, and have the same rights, thus we should be treated equally.

Men & women are not equal & never will be - each of the sexes has evolved to do different things, & it is fairly obvious that each sex has specialisations.

As to whether the two sexes should be treated equally, I ask why should they not be treated equally? Unfortunately there are enough people out there that still treat the two sexes differently & I think it will continue for a while yet.

Someone once asked me if the world would be a better place if women were in charge & I asked him what makes him think that they aren't?

i wouldn't want to get drafted...i really don't think it's a woman's place out there on the battlefield. (not that I don't support those that are out there) this is just my thought's on it.

has anyone seen G.I. Jane the way I see it just because your are born plus or minus a few parts does not mean you should be treated different if the women want's to hold a gun and fight keep up and don't bitch. Don't get we wrong I am not an ass or anything but if you put yourself in that place don't expect special treatment

isn't there a kind of beauty to special treatment? it seems so sexy that women should want the help of men. it's pleasing to see men need the care of a woman. and these are done in completely different ways. do we want to see them become the same ways?

there's something right about women spending more time trying to look beautiful than men, and men always complaining about it. i'm not sure if i want that to change.
