ok Dr Phil has this thing on about sexting today, there are these parents on here crying and complaining that their 12 year old is doing this. Heres my question wouldnt you if that was your daughter just take the damn phone away?! I would, rather than sit there and say how bad it is that shes doing it.
*side note* I dont usually watch Dr Phil its just on here for lack of my laziness to change the channel lol

Somebody needs to put a boot in those parents asses. It never ceases to amaze me how many parents say shit like that these days..."she won't do this" or "he refuses to do that"...WTFever, buddy, you're the adult, act like it!!! I didn't get the option of refusing to do things as a kid...it was "do what I said or else." A 12 year old shouldn't have a cell phone for anything other than emergency use anyway...and even THAT is pushing it IMO.

In a bout of laziness akin to Auudra's I had Regis and Kelly on before I left for work. Kelly was talking about her daughter begging for a cell phone and the justification was "but mom, what if I need you!?" her daughter pleaded. Kelly's answer was classic, "Turn to your left because I'm usually right next to you!"

Thought that was clever...even for Kelly Ripa...

My niece and nephew were told they could have a cell phone once they turn 16...the first one is about to reach that milestone in less than a week. Now my sis-in-law has changed her mind and decided that when my nephew turns 16 next week BOTH kids can get a cell phone. My niece is only 14 and I'm pretty sure when her dad sees the amount of TEXTING (NOT SEXTING) she can do, he'll cut that shit out pretty quick. LOL
