Blue/gray is what is given by new members .. it's because they are so low in the amount of rep given. I think they either have to have a certain amount of posts or have gotten a certain amount of rep for it to change colors.

I don't think it is negative rep .. it's good rep, just the color shows that they are very, very new.

It's ok, found out (as post above). When I looked again, it came up saying 'this rep is even'. I forgot red was neg rep.

Yes, the unlimited rep giving went back to normal late saturday night/early Sunday I think.
