ok I will give you that one since leadership has to start somewhere.

still some of those guys like Ford don't seem like Blue Dogs from what I recall.

My point though is currently on the national stage I don't see anybody worth shit that is electable.

But them I think all those clowns are bought and paid for by the time they get to that level.

And how many of the Republican candidates had you heard of before they began their run for the nomination? The point being that until they put themsleves in the national spotlight you aren't going to be aware of them.

Blue Dog Democrats:
Note this is only from the House of Representatives.

See here>Blue Dog Coalition - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is hope:
See here:Conservative Democrats Peeling Away From Obama
That is interesting , something I will read into.
One comment I have make is that no matter the leaning's , no matter the blue dogs beliefs , it comes down to McCain/ and Airhead , vs Obama and Biden . A clear as choice as Americans are going to get .
Allen wants a fantasy , his fantasy , and will never get it ---neither will I get mine !.
I will settle for what is available , and that is Obama .
This country needs some relief ! >f

Exactly the way that I feel. I am a liberal and not ashamed of it it the least! When it comes down to voting for who is going to get this country out of the mess that we're in I would have to say that Obama will be the best of the candidates to do it. Go Obama!!! :thumbup Palin is a joke!

That right there is a classic example of why we have lousy leaders. We accept inferior ones.

There are no fantasies on my part. I expect better and won't accept the crap you find ok.

if you wanted change then Obama is not gonna bring any. It will be the same nonsense we have had in the past. His rock star status will clearly fade when people realize he is just another of the same of shit we keep getting fed.

Both Obama and McCain showed they are incapable of fighting the Washington machine. Their agreeing to the bailout with all the porks speaks volumes.

I don't consider Obama inferior , I just don't agree 100% with all his positions .
Whats the chance you or I are going to see a leader that we agree with 100%?
You can wait for that to happen , but I afraid it will be a hell of a long wait !.
Bottom line is you can participate in the democratic process as it is , or be a spectator , sit it out.
As to the bailout , nobody running for President would oppose it . Political suicide. >f

Inferior to who? If you mean McCain I would not argue.

I do not expect to agree 100% . But there are some basics principles I would expect

I participate if you mean by voting. I don't go to any party meetings if that is what you mean. It would be pointless as they are led by cliques. IMO

Should not be though. At least the final version. That was porked up and disgusting.

Porked up? You got that right. Why did they feel the need to buy more votes with pork?

This was a PERFECT opportunity for McCain to stand up and practice what her preaches. He needed to rail against the pork in this bill and refuse to vote for it until it was removed. But no, he went along with the rest of them and passed another pork laden bill. He missed a perfect opportunity for sure.

I have seen some say it was political suicide for either one to not support the bailout. I agree with you completely. He blew a chance to prove his is different. Instead he proved he is no better.

Something tells me Palin did not know the questions in advance with Katie cause they-were-pick'n-on her, poor baby. But the same something tells me she got a better deal with Fox. However, the only time I see a Fox clip (now a days) is when someone is pointing out the latest propaganda they are pushing to the ignorant.

Ok, so you made me look up Kennedy vs Louisiana. :) As I understand the fallibility of the judicial system I am against the death penalty so killing child molestors is a no go. Lock them up and throw away the key? Take away their weight room and their TVs? I could go for that.

It would be a disaster to have the death penalty for child molesters. As much as I would love to see them hang for it, We don't need any excuse for these ass clowns to kill the kids. And that is a very distinct possibility. If you know you will fry for molesting that child, it might deter you, but it sure as hell will give you good reason to cover your tracks and leave no witness behind.

So yu mak'n fun of how she talks? Now doggone it, you betcha, darn toot'n? Actually that was the folksy ploy by her handlers. The more she wrecks the language the more the populace will love her. ;) Kidding aside, child rape is a heinous crime no doubt about it.

Take Fox and compare it to CNN. I'd be willing to bet that no matter who you are, you're not going to see the questions in advance on CNN. If your an important conservative figure, wanna bet on Fox, they see the question list in advance?
