I retire my flip flops when it drops to the 50s and bring them back out when it gets back to the 60s. I cannot stand wearing shoes. I'd likely go barefoot everywhere I could if flip flops didn't exist.

When it gets cooler I don my Wicked Good Slippers. I wear them everywhere. They are comfy and durable.

I wear sandals and flip flops all summer long.. If I were back home I would go barefoot as much as I could... citys and pavement make me need to wear sandals...

I wear leather type summer shoes with sides and fronts with splits in, they are very comfortable. Cant wear those flippy floppy type sandals.

Most do! Otherwise, some establishments like a restaurant with a formal setting or some clubs require socks for men/stockings for women! I've seen it mostly in Chicago not in California tho' :dunno

Woudn't it be funny though wearing a nice looking high heeled sandals with socks esp in summer time? Weird, imo. :ninja I know that a trend setter Chloe Sevigny tried introducing such in 2009. But it didnt gain popularity. As they say wearing socks with sandals brings out the 9 year old in a woman ( juz me of course )

I live in the Caribbean which means i experience almost perfect weather and as such i wear sandals and flip flop all year round; i've found them to be very comfortable and i own some real cute ones.
