I just wanted to post and say thank you to those of you who have been so supportive I really apperciate it.
For those of you who are like "well :wtf: is she talking about?" My grandmother passed on Friday and I've been having a pretty hard time with it. It crazy to me that a woman who never smoked in her life passed of lung cancer.. My mom wants me to write something for her and say it at the funeral but I am at such a loss for words that I don't even know where to begin.

anyway sorry to waist you guys time it just helps to type out what I am thinking you know?

Oh, that is very sad to hear and I didn't realize.

Whatever is in your heart to say about her, the person she is, will be a very special way to speak of her.

I don't think you will need to write it, you will have it there inside and it will just come out the way it is meant to. Heartfelt is always the more meaningful for anyone.

I wish you some peace with this and hope that you get through it without it hurting too much.

Take care. :)

Lost my Mom to Cancer about 7 years ago now,the loss is something youm always feel when its somebody so clkose. If you want to write something make it something personal to you and if you cant read it yourself ask a family member or friend to do it for you. I did that and got my godmother to read it.Everybody loved it.

Sorry for your loss and hope expressing your feelings on paper helps ease the sense of grief you feel.

I am so sorry. :(

I lost both my grandmothers. One almost 2 yrs ago to a massive heart attack and the other one about 10 yrs ago to breast cancer.
I was very close to both of them and it was rough. I still find myself thinking about them and getting emotional about it.
Maybe you could write a poem for her and read it?

I dont think i had the pleasure of chatting with you much before but
im truly sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. just say what ever you feel in your heart and im sure your speech will come out beautiful.
tell them about all the good times, the funny moments, things just you and your grandmother may understand, things you two did together, the kind of woman she is. just say what you feel. Good luck.
