Thanks for posting that :) I'd seen the link around, yet hadn't clicked yet.

This whole situation has been hysterical in a sad, telling way. The MSM is left w/egg on their face once again. They will report what they're told to report. Period. Does anyone still have any doubts?

Left or right.

Ron is the only politician that I've ever heard say that it's possible he could be assimilated into the status quo once elected. At least he's honest ;)

His words last time got this life-long democrat to donate to his campaign. The most $ I'd ever given to a political candidate. Sadly, due to budget-constraints, he'll get no donation from me this go around.

Both Ron & Dennis Kucinich have a lot of the same threads between them. Neither will ever win.

We as a nation are too stupid to save ourselves. Even if we as a collective woke the frac up, electronic voting machines will provide the pre-determined corporate candidate suitable for maintaining the sold-out status quo.

Whee....

But at least Jon got it down ;):24:

Unfortunately so many voters get their marching orders from Network News.

You guys have it all wrong...

It's not the main stream media... it's corporate media, that's why they so despise Ron Paul

is there really a difference? the main stream media is run by lobbyists who work for corporations.

New top tier. Those three words were echoed in every clip presented by Jon Stewart. Evidently all the
mainstream presstitutes got their memos.

(Do ya'll remember "gravitas" from the 2004 election? It seemed the buzz word for every democrat during that time.)

:24: I remember that! It was like a second grade class having a contest on how many times they could use the new vocabulary word.

They all find a word or phrase and chirp it, whether they know what it means or not (I'm looking at you, Sarah Palin) What's the difference between a politician and Mike Tyson, in that sense?

Face tattoos. :24:

You have to ask? Politicians are supposed to try to sway you to vote for a specific candidate. News organizations are not.

Just because something isn't supposed to happen doesn't make it so. They aren't supposed to try to sway a vote, but they do. There's little discernible difference in main stream media, at present.

Anyway, City Girl's post made me think of the stupid catch phrases the politicians mindlessly use to drum up publicity, as well as media mouthpieces.

Not supposed to, but just look at Fox News... How many Republican presidential hopefuls are on their payroll? :24:

Not just Fox, Partisan. It's all of them. But it's pretty blatant that Murdoch was building his own stable of politicians.

While I never want to see another Republican in charge of this country, of the group who is running this year, if it had to be, I'd choose Ron Paul (not Rand). While I'm at odds with his view of the role of the Federal Government, at least he is willing to call out the insanity of the Republican Party.
