I'm like the worst parent ever. I've spent the entire night doing nothing but getting annoyed with Zac. Maybe his mom is right and I should just leave.

Two small containers of soft cheese from a local place
A bag of nuts
A bag of chocolate peanuts
$10 to Starbucks

Meanwhile, I know for a fact that my boss gets 5% of his salary plus 25% of however much we're under budget for the year up to a certain amount (can't remember the exact number) as his bonus.

Oh wait, I missed two things... I got a small jar of garlic and jalapeno stuffed olives, and a small bag of peppermint bark as well. As near as I can tell, we got about $30 worth of stuff while my boss nets thousands.

I've been working full-time for 11 years now, and the biggest bonus I've ever gotten was a $100 bill. When I worked for the group of schools, I came onboard the last year they gave bonuses, and they started them back up the year I left (left in November, bonuses came out in December).

7 years I worked at one company and the last year on Dec 13th ( in 2004 ) I finally got something..

Ugh, I've been fortunately enough to avoid the pink slip on Christmas. But I'm still on track to get mine on New Years right now. Sigh.

Technically what we got was a "holiday gift"... it pisses me off that my boss won't let us get even a $50 gift card or something... it *has* to be something from a local dairy business.

So now I have the bitch at work (see earlier posts in this thread) going after me again. She was apparently upset that I returned her bitchy attitude with me over the weekend with rudeness. I was out shopping on Saturday and she called me because the person working Saturday fucked something up. Then she gets this attitude that said person it just sitting there twiddling her thumbs (yeah right, I'm sure that was preventing her from doing any work at all) so I needed to do something about it immediately. So I ended up having to drive to a fucking Starbucks, buy a coffee, and log in with my laptop (I fortunately had it in my car because I forgot to take it out the night before) and fix the problem. So she evidently spent yesterday going around and talking shit about me and flat out lying about things again. She's a know-nothing office monkey that thinks she knows more about being a Network Administrator than someone that's been doing it for coming up on 11 years now.

Fuck this shit. I'm gonna have a heart attack from all of the stress by the end of the year... well, at least I won't have to worry about being fired, cause I'll be dead.

Please don't make fun of me too badly... I couldn't sleep, so I got back up and was browsing Wikipedia, and eventually came across something that I didn't know. That Liza Minnelli is Judy Garland's daughter... I honestly had no clue that was the case. I think that qualifies me for "fail at life" status.

I do find it amusing that I find that out and then see Dana posting some nonsense about The Wizard of Oz being a non-Christmas Christmas movie.
