Almost 4am and I'm still awake. Wheeee. I was watching TV on my recliner earlier and fell asleep for about an hour... that was around 830. I really wish that hadn't have happened, cause now my sleep schedule is going to be fucked up for a while now.

Work. I think all but one or two of the women in my office are PMSing at the same time. Let's just say that is was a fucked up day at work.

Now I'm pissed cause our athletic director completely screwed the pooch in hiring a new head coach. He thought he had a sure thing in hiring Jim McElwain (Alabama Defensive Coordinator), and then Colorado State dropped their $1.5 million/year bomb of an offer. But here's the thing, we had boosters willing to come close to matching it + incentives, and McElwain wanted to come here. In the end though, we punted and didn't even bother contacting him again. Hell, we didn't even officially interview him for the love of God... we interviewed one candidate, who happens to be someone that was at Ohio for 7 years while our AD was there. This is the same exact same that happened when we hired our new basketball coach in the spring... our AD was set to hire a guy from Ohio until our President stepped in and overruled him and hired a top assistant from Texas. This has just been a freaking disaster from the word go.

I found out last night that I get to spend Christmas Day by myself... how delightfully depressing. My family is getting together on Christmas Eve instead, in order to once again accommodate my brother and sister in law. Her family always takes precedence over ours, and they're only going to be over for like an hour or two and then they're going to her mom's for the rest of Christmas Eve, and then her dad's on Christmas Day.

So I guess I'll sit around on Christmas Day and play video games. Yippy.
