Got this today as well... not part of the swag bag or anything. We all did this voiceover studio for a WoW cinematic scene and we all got it on a 1GB flash drive.

Considering that I would not, in a million years, shell out $200 to go to a convention, I would say no. I'm not. Not even close.

It apparently comes with that totally SWEET "swag bag"...but I'd still pass. Even if it does mean I'll never get to meet my girl crush Felicia Day ever.

I could've watched the opening ceremony for free on TV on Friday, and I didn't. My level of care for video games will never be enough for me to put myself through that hell.

$175 for the ticket, and then I split a hotel, and since I live in California, my travel is just by car. You get entrance to the convention, the bag of stuff that I posted, tons of Q&A panels, informational stuff, announcements, ability to play different betas of the games, contests, and then a concert at the end... which was Foo Fighters this year. Oh, and that's not the Foo Fighters playing 4-5 songs and calling it done. No way, that's them playing basically their entire concert set list. Is it worth $175? Eh, that's debatable... but it was still a helluva lot of fun, even though I don't play WoW anymore... the Diablo 3 stuff was pretty awesome, and hell... so was the Starcraft 2 expansion stuff. It was an experience of a weekend. Not sure if I'll do it again, but like I said... I had a ton of fun.
