All I have to say right now is that people are going to regret fucking with me today. I've already torn a few new assholes at another forum, and I'm about ready to do it at work. Apparently my telling our programmer yesterday that I installed the new version of our in-house interface application meant that she needed to install it again on the user's computer, thereby fucking everything up that I already fucking configured. I can't stand these fucking imbeciles.

So, I'm not a big fan of my birthday and Christmas rolling around. Because everyone asks me what I want, and I never really have an answer for them. The only thing I could really come up with is something that I'm not going to get, an iPad... or the new Kindle Fire, or some other Android-based tablet. Maybe I'll ask for Legos or something.

I have no idea what else I might even want. I never really think about those kind of things.

Why don't you ask for vouchers towards the thing you want? My sister wants amazon vouchers this year so she buy herself a new sat nav.

So, I'm wondering why people can't exercise common sense. A server had a glitch this afternoon... rather than chalking it up to a glitch, I have our programmer flipping out like it's the end of the world and going to be a disaster and blah blah blah. So I had to spend 20 minutes talking her off of the proverbial fucking cliff. Wouldn't a fucking programmer know about the fucking scientific motherfucking method?

ARRRRGH!

I was thinking about doing that... asking for money or whatever. But then that takes all of the surprise out of it too. :24:

Oh. Got it. I didn't realize that guesses needed to be in the form of questions. I never phrased my answers as questions unless I was playing Jeopardy...and this doesn't look like Jeopardy to me. :)

Oh, well while your guess was technically correct, I don't believe that is the correct answer.

Well, then I have no idea. If you're mocking someone around here, I don't venture around enough to know the answer. I think a lot of people don't type very correctly around here. However, if this is one of those existential, philosophical questions, then I can tell you that you're a 28 year old IT guy with an adorable, funny son who undervalues everyone around him, most of all himself. I think you're a writer, a guitar player, a geek/nerd, who has the potential to be a great friend if he'd stop trying so hard an over-analyzing everything.

Take a step back, write yourself a list of things you want out of your life, however minor or major. It will point you in the right direction towards finding yourself. (My list includes such things as "I want to be amazed by something", "I want to make someone proud", "I want straight teeth", "I want feather extensions", and "I want out of Phoenix" among other things.)

Also: There's a whole lot of truth in this picture, if you're ever struggling with a decision...

Nah, not mocking anyone at all.

Thanks... that helps. I know I can always count on you.

The picture is true; though it makes life more complicated and impossible. But that's okay.

This is awesome. She knows you far better than I do, but I certainly feel she summed it up well. This was a great warm and fuzzy smile this morning.

Your "buddy" sure likes to use being bipolar as a crutch. Didn't we discuss this a few months back? Anytime he gets challenged, he uses the bipolar card.
