I seriously don't understand people sometimes.

There's a news story posted on Facebook by my local news/talk station. Evidently, a pastor raped one of his congregation members, and was arrested for it. Someone actually had the audacity to claim that it was because the community doesn't pray for it's spiritual guides enough, and that's how Satan got him to do it.

I'm like... seriously people? Maybe he was just a fucking sick and twisted individual. Amazing concept, right?

I can't stand those people. In 6th grade, my friend's dad turned out to be a child raper. His church actually bailed him out of jail because they were convinced the girls he hurt were making it up. My friend and her mom had to leave the country to get away from him.


I'll never be religious.

Why am I not surprised by A) the fact that a Clergyman raped someone and B) that someone said that about the reason. Laughable. :24:

Cause neither one of those is all that surprising... well, rape outside of the Catholic church is a little odd. But I live in the Bible belt of California, so it's not that big of a shocker that people are putting the blame elsewhere.

ahhh, a glorious day off. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it... probably a lot of nothing. :D Then I'm going to a baseball game tonight for my grandma's birthday... she's 77 today.

I'm gonna be doing the same thing... though I listen to Anberlin regularly. But just one song. I have to listen to We Owe This To Ourselves whenever I'm in the car with Zac, because he's obsessed with the song. :24:
