Yes, you ARE painting your religion in a negative light. If all Islamics are as moronic, closed minded and they rely solely on books to base their beliefs, then they're all morons. And Peter is completely correct, if you had said, for example, that "Along with the fact that there is somewhat evidence in the Quaran, I think that the Islamic faith feels right for me, and I have great faith in it" your reign of retardation would be over.

Along with all this, Peter's response of "Or is that just in the Quaran too?" was an incredibly witty response, especially when you compare it with your response of "you're just being stupid now too".

In conclusion, I would recommend that you read over your 'Holy' Quaran, learn to debate, along with that some proper spelling, punctuation, and Grammar, come back with some opinions and 'evidence' that isn't just from a book, and debate in a proper manner.

3. The human embryo adheres to the mother's uterus like a leech.
4. The embryo develops in three dark regions in the uterus.

Im STILL a Catholic until I have the balls to tell my mom I dont really believe half the shit they want me to, but my actual thoughts are as follows...

There are SO many different religions, most commonly overlap each other. Virgin Mary of the Christian religions, is also revered by the Muslims.

The fact is religion itself is used to help fill a whole in ignorance. Its up to a person to believe it, and to intepret it. If you believe that an institute of Christianity is the best way to handle it, be a Catholic. If you think you should interpret the Bible on your own, look into the various other Christian religions.

If you believe in reincarnation, and the want to break free of it/Samsara, be a Buddhist.

etc with Islam, Hinduism, Jewish, and any other large/small/polytheistic/monothesitic/tribal religion.

I would advise my friends to figure out how THEY feel. No influences or anything. Figure out what YOU believe is the ultimate truth (if any), and pursue that religion. If anyone of one faith claims their "faith" is better/more accurate than another religion, they are fucking stupid and should be slapped. No one can PROVE religion, its FAITH basd. One person might have faith in one idea, while another may haev another. Who can judge whos FAITH is more honorable/respectable/correct? No one I know...
