Love ya too Suzie :ninjaOh Donnie... I <3 you!
I'm waiting on an intelligent post from you.Me too...so bored. Waiting patiently for a smart response...waiting. =/
it would actually be interesting to see someone try to prove god's supposed existence through the bible.
Well, most of the bible was written by several people, but they remain anonymous, most of the gospels were just given names when it was compiled at the council of Nicene.Exactly. All of these people try to follow the book and shit, but they don't know they were getting brainwashed. Who wrote the book? Some dude did...a bullshitter to be exact. He writes this huge book of religious crap just to make people believe it. Why do they believe it? Who knows...

I think god is fake. The bible also has no proof that he exists either, because the info inside is false.
SOME things in the bible can be found in history, and SOME dates are correct, but thats just because when they were written by the anonymous authors they put those events into the gospel in order for people to relate. But the point is that it was completely made up! No proof is to be found...yet.

um... prove that it is false and then i'll be able to accept your personal opinion (which is stated as a fact)
Its actually not on him to prove that your own holy book is false or otherwise. The people that claim it to be "true" have the burden of proof on them.um... prove that it is false and then i'll be able to accept your personal opinion (which is stated as a fact)

they're morons???
The bible was actually written by several people. This is why there are several books with different names in the bible.
You know like matthew, mark, luke, john, james, etc.
Obviously you just wanted to pick a fight and my being damn near completely athiest I don't really care either way, but when you make opinions in a debate thread you need to back up your statements.
This is not proper for a debate thread. This is your opinion.
I'm overall in agreeance with Donnie on this one. You want to start shit with bible thumpers, but I think they'd just be wasting their time with you.
I agree that he should have used examples, but ultimately, its up to the believer to provide sound evidence that what they claim to believe is indeed real in a discussion. It's not 'my book'. But to counter you with your own statement. You can't make a statement as he without providing examples and proof of his statements.
One who makes the statements needs to back the statements with reasons.
Yes, they do. If you claim somehting to be true, you are intellectually obliged to back your beliefs up in the public setting if you claim for them to be fact. The believer has no burdon to prove anything to this nonbeliever. There were so many more tactfull ways to go about this. Hell, this guy makes you look like a saint, and I absolutely hate the way you debate AEF.

What do you dislike about my debating?
