Around here the only "video stores" where you buy movies instead of rent are X-rated. :tooth
I was just going to say the same thing! That's all we have too.

But Darrell was talking about video STORES... so I assumed we were talking about buying...
*chalks it up to miscommunication, rather than being slow*
I'm sure the decline of rental places has something to do with the price. Didn't Blockbuster cost $5.99 a rental? I know that they're a business and it's still cheaper than buying a brand new movie, but that's still pretty darn expensive. I only went there a few times when I had a gift card for it.

Dana said:Definitely a miscommunication because I believe he was referring to going into places like Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Video Gallery and such where you can pick up a case and look at the movie BEFORE you rent it versus Redbox where all you have is a computer touch screen. :dunno
The only actual video store that I can think of is Media Play, but that place is long gone.
Never been to a Suncoast? Those used to be in malls everywhere, although I'm sure they're all long gone.
