Thanks Maria. I hope so too, cos I am very tired right now. had a bad night's sleep last night, so it's beginning to catch up on me now.

Some nights, where the reflux enters my throat, I wake up actually choking and cannot breathe for it. I told him this, but he didn't seem to feel it was anything to be alarmed about - he said that's normal for that to happen! maybe it is, but it's pretty scary too!!!

I am also somebody who has bad nights. I never really rest enough and when I do I always wake up a lot during the night, so I know how you feel.
About the doctor, the other day I had a lot of pain in my ear and I went to the doctor and told him (almost crying with pain) that it hurt me a lot and all he said was *it's not an infection so there's no risk, the pain will go away* God, I was taking some pain killers of my own, but they weren't enough.. I think he should have payed attention to what I was telling him and not take importance out of it.
