One tip I received from a professor I respected in college... treat job hunting as a full-time job. Wake up in the morning, shower + get dressed, turn on the computer and start looking for a job. Don't play games / chat on forums / half-ass looking - but treat the search as if it's what you're getting paid to do each day.

ALSO: use contacts to help you out, social networking aside, the people you know could help you in ways that would benefit you the most.

Yeah my friend was in the same boat a few months ago. Totally sucks. I hope you find something soon.
