Honestly Nani made a meal of his fall when Gerrard touched him but it should of been a red card for Carragher and Rafael. But still, I'm chuffed we won and does prove that we can survive without Torres and that Kuyt should play as a strike more often.

Carragher is shit now. He's so slow that the only way he can stop people is by hacking them down, I doubt he would even be able to hold his own in the Championship. I remember last season when an 18 year old West Ham striker on his debut was making mincemeat of Carragher. He was a good player in his time, wish he would just retire gracefully and stop embarressing himself.

A funny story from the game last night between Everton and Birmingham.

REFEREE Peter Walton played a game of spot-the-card when he booked Birmingham midfielder Jordon Mutch at Goodison Park last night.

Northamptonshire-based Walton left his red and yellow cards behind in the dressing room at the start of Brum's 1-1 draw at Everton — and only discovered they were missing when Mutch committed a bookable offence in the 40th minute.

The red-faced ref had to show an IMAGINARY yellow to the culprit before collecting the tools of his trade from the fourth official minutes later.

Could be, hes not been the most reliable player over the last couple of seasons. Luckily Chris Smalling has improved a lot lately so he's not been missed as much, though if Rio does end his career, I believe another Centre Half would have to come.

I'm also really thankful for this international break actually, it'll allow for some players to come back from injury, like Vidic, like Park. We'll just have to come through Bolton on Saturday unscathed.

I'm sure he has the fitness, or should have. Giggs and Scholes are excellent examples of what a footballer should look like. Giggs is clever too, he knows he can't run down the wing a lot nowadays, so he saves himself so he can on occasion, as well as playing in central midfield as he does on occasion.

I don't think he does, he's injured so often (when he's not missing drugs test or kicking women)

Same goes for Gerrard and Beckham - when you get past 30, injuries keep you out longer and you lose fitness faster. Young players can be out for 3 games and come back at the same fitness.

4 points off of Spurs this season, I'll take that! A hard earned point and two fantastic saves by Green. COYI!!!

Shame poor little Defoe didn't get a chance to show off his 100 Premiership goals tee shirt, hahaha! :D

Half time in our game with Bolton, 0-0. It's mainly been frustration with a few loose balls, particularly from the midfield. Evans has looked a bit shaky at the back. Rooney's looked up for it with a couple of chances and tracking back well, Giggs has also done well in that regard, Hernandez looks a little bit off. There's room for improvement certainly but getting the goal is the most important thing. They have had a couple of chances themselves, best one from a free kick from Petrov which VDS saved easily. Hopefully the breakthrough will come.
