I think Woy does have a point, if you watch Liverpool you do see the former players watching in the stands and mention is made of them, and it can create pressure, especially if they are club legends. I'm not saying it's the whole reason why he failed at Liverpool, but it's one of them.

I didn't think Rafa do bad, neither did Houllier feel any pressure

Good to get back to Premiership action again! Probably going to lose today so unless we're absolutely hammered I'm not going to be too disapointed. If we carry on where we left off, hopefully we might salvage a point.

No, Houllier skipped the pressure and just had a heart attack. After Heskey scored apparently, though I can't confirm that.

I read the quote off the BBC

It's alright, I also heard that Liverpool fans were the best in the world. I don't know of any other club that treats it's managers so badly - and regularly holds events where you burn players shirts. :24:

Never heard anything of what you said, apart from being the best fans in the world

What the fuck are you doing Pat?

1-0 down, shit.

EDIT : It's a shame because we've played quite well and been the better team, but haven't taken our chances.

Bring Berbasex on.

I know but they should be good enough to get a result here.

We just need a goal, back in it then and maybe get a result, but they have took their chances, handed to them to a degree, but still taken. Valencia fills me with hope though.

Yeah....we were, but Berbatov coming on wasn't the whole reason we turned it round. Rooney was the main reason. Chica's movement was another. Yes Berbatov played well when he came on but he isn't the whole reason we came back.

Stoke beating the renties at the moment, can't see them holding on though.

1-1 now, Drogba. He finally dropped the ladyboy.

What, like when you got battered by West Ham last time you picked an understrength team? Think a manager like Fergie wouldn't make the same mistake twice!
Bit gutted to lose after being 2-0 up at half time but wasn't expecting anything to start with and to be honest, 2-0 at half time was flattering to West Ham. Can't deny the class of Rooney and dont know what game someone was watching if they thought a guy who came of for the last 25 minutes after Man Utd had already pulled it back level and didn't contribute to any of the goals turned it around.

I think the major difference between then and now is....we just played well. We didn't in the 4-0 defeat, we did today. We just needed a goal, when we got it I knew we'd get something, happened against Blackpool, happened against Villa.

Nolan's also been booked for Newcastle which means he'll miss the next two games, the second of which is against us, pretty good news. In the same game Newcastle are 2-0 up, good, I want Wolves to go down, game raising twats.

Need Newcastle to beat Wolves. Just need Birmingham to win and Tottenham to get at least a point to keep us out of the bottom 3. Spurs are doing alright and the moment but Birmingham are 1-0 up against Bolton, hope Bolton can pull it back in the second half.
