Cheers Stoke :D

What a goal from Crouch though, wow, that right there is the goal of the season. It was majestic. As good, if not better, than Van Basten at Euro 88. City go back top but only on Goal Difference, we play Fulham at home on Monday so I'd expect us to be 3 clear with the way we're playing of late. But yeah, watch Crouch's goal if you do nothing else this weekend.

Here it is.

I want Blackburn to stay up because of all the abuse Steve Kean has had to put up with this season, some of it totally uncalled for. Wigan because they seem a nice club and I like Martinez, think he's a good manager. Not too fussed about Bolton, wouldn't lose sleep if they went down to be honest.

Beat Fulham 1-0 at home to go clear at the top, far from vintage but at this stage it'll do. Started uncertainly before coming into the game a lot more and got rewarded when Rooney put us in front. They had a penalty shout at the end which looked solid, but to be fair from the referee's angle it looks as if Carrick gets the ball going by the angle it went, but a different referee might give that (Twatkinson) so it was close. A win's a win though.

Man City draw 3-3 at home to Sunderland. Despite coming back from 3-1 down they'll still see it as 2 points dropped. If we win at Blackburn on Monday, we'll be 5 points clear. Chelsea beat Aston Villa 4-2 at Villa park where Torres (yes, really) was one of the scorers. Arsenal go down 2-1 to QPR and miss a big chance to go further clear of Spurs. Everton beat West Brom, Fulham beat Norwich, Wigan beat Stoke and Wolves lose to Bolton, which all but sends Wolves down.

Liverpool were a bit unlucky. But Dalglish got his tactics all wrong. And Carroll... I don't want be too hard on him, because sometimes you do stupid things on a pitch that you can't explain, but there is no defence for him.

We'll beat QPR on Sunday. Hopefully Arsenal get at least a point, if not win. Our form in the latter half of the season has been nothing short of sensational, as always. Like Sir Alex said the other day, playing well over 3 months is fine, but the season lasts for 10 months.

I still think it will go to the wire. But united should clinch it. An amazing achievement when you compare city's team with united's. How many united players would Mancini take if he could? Rooney, Vidic maybe..

Valencia, Evans, Hernandez, Young, Scholes. He'd fancy a few. City's big stars look tired, this was very apparent on Saturday. Silva's been poor for months, Toure looked tired. Ballotelli's still a liability, Dzeko's awful, Hart's not the keeper he was. Like last year, it isn't our greatest ever team, but it's a team who know how to win, know what to do in the final months. I'd take a team with a winning mentality over a team of ego's any day of the week.

He's a much better defender than Lescott and Savic (though calling him a defender is an insult to defenders), he's been much improved this season.

Van Persie, now there's a striker, what a great striker he is. I hope he keeps up his goalscoring ways.
