I can see alot of improvements over the summer, so it will be on the line but at the same time success takes time. If we continue to work on our league position, while taking the cups seriously, then we can have a steady flow of success in cup competitions.

Yeah Kenny hasn't had the opportunity to spend much money yet, he deserves a chance.

Good performance from Gerrard tonight, the rest was fairly average with the odd good performance thrown in. Everton with better decision making (especially from Pienaar) might have done better than a 3-0 loss.

I felt sorry for Kelly and Carroll for not scoring when they had their chances, as I know how they fault as I hit the post on Sunday when I was forced to play outfield, but a victory nonetheless and a big moral boost for Liverpool. Everton should try to settle for mid-table now and concentrate on getting to Wembley if they're gonna have any success or even an attempt at getting into Europe next season.

5-0 away at Wolves, very good performance, scored goals, got the goal difference down a little. Evans with his first ever goal for us, then Wolves went down to 10 men after a stupid lunge by Zubar, already on a yellow. 1-0 became 2 and then 3-0 before the break thanks for Valencia and Welbeck. Hernandez scored a double after the break. This was a ruthless beating. Which also puts us 4 points clear which is handy, hopefully Chelsea and Stoke can do us favours to keep our lead before we play Fulham at home next Monday night.

Spurs are slowly but surely bottling top 4. Just as well Chelsea lost for them, as they would have gone above them with a win over Spurs at the weekend. As it is they can close the gap to 2 points. City edged out Chelsea though they deserved to, Torres did a better job defensively then Chelsea's defence. We still hold the advantage though.

Liverpool lol.gif

Dreadful game between Chelsea and Spurs so far, 0-0 and there hasn't even been a shot. Penalty claim for Chelsea then, didn't look like one though.

Oh look, Chelsea's female physio drool (1).gif

Ends 0-0, better game in the second half though Spurs deserved to win, much the better team. But they'd take 0-0, it's a 5 point gap between them and Chelsea and could have been enough to wrap up 4th because that's really the last "big game" Spurs play, whereas Chelsea still have to go to Arsenal and Liverpool. The bigger winners are Arsenal, who I'd expect to win at home to Villa.

It was overall, it says a lot when a defender gets MOTM.

2-0 Arsenal at the moment. Wigan are 1-0 up at Anfailed through a penalty from Maloney, Bolton beating Blackburn 2-0 and Norwich drawing 1-1 with Wolves, Wolves took the lead but a minute later Norwich equalised. Such is life down the bottom.
