So today I went for another eye test! By the day after you have 80% of the vision you will see when you are fully healed. I am already better than 20/20. :D

glad it went well for ya

I would be tempted but I am chicken shit. I would be afraid of the one in a thousand or whatever that has complications.

So I will put up with being farsighted. Doc says I should get glasses for distance but I won't do it till I have to. I think it weakens your eyes and I can see pretty good. Plus he said at my age I am nearing where the eyes have deteriorated as far as they typically will. Was news to me. Sucks getting old :p

AA no one is a bigger chicken shit than me! It took me 3 attempts to get my ears pierced every time I got to the chair and went NOPE not doing it!

Glad it went well.

I'd love perfect vision, but I don't much fancy having an operation. I try to avoid them wherever possible.

So tomorrow it will be 4 weeks since I had my eyes done. So technically I should have all the vision I am going to get. My vision is brilliant! I'd say better even than with glasses on before. My night vision is also much better now as well. I still get halos but no where near as bad as before! Some people suffer from dry eyes for a few months after surgery. My eyes have been fine. Havnt used my drops since week one. My life is just generally easier. I don't have to worry about grit behind my contact lens. I don't need wipe my glasses constantly in the rain! My glasses dont steam up and my eyes don't get irritated. Life is grand! I am begining to read things for other people! Lol never thought that would happen. Eg some on at work would ask what show is on the play house cos they can't read the sign from there could see it clear as day! So I can say that I whole heartedly recommend that anyone who is considering getting it done to go ahead and do it. My only regret is putting it off when i had a chance before to get £300 off my treatment!
