As a biological parent, she'll have rights to her children unless she's deemed unfit by the courts. Full custody? Maybe not. But I can't see where a 79 year old woman is a better option than their own mother.

Also not to be rude but the woman is 79 and those kids are bloody young shes gona kick the bucket soonish and then those kids will be back in the courts with someone else fighting for them.

I saw her quoted as saying exactly the opposite, that she never wanted to be away from them and was forced by MJ. Guess it all depends on which media you choose to believe, because pretty much no one really knows what the deal was between those two anyway. It's all just speculation.

I agree, and I treat this as pure speculation, a court is obviously better to decide this than me. This is just what by opinion is (subject to change) on what I've heard so far and more factual information will no doubt come out soon.
