There are many things I admire about America. Too many to put here, but here are some:
Your sense of freedom and liberty,
The concept of uncentralized Governance,
The incredibly diversity of people and cultures,
The landscape ranging from arid deserts to the pacific north-west, and a ll the swamps, mountains and rivers and lakes in between,
The invaluable contributions America has made to the arts; from literature to Hollywood - which occasionally does a good film,
ditto for Science - you put a man on the moon which is the greatest achievement of Humanity to date.
It's not always been easy, and you've done your best to fuck it all up in the mean time, but as that guy said:
" in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
I'd take more things like The Simpsons for a couple more Watergates
