I said American cars of their heyday--1950s and 60s, not the shit available today! THESE are the American cars that neither Europe nor Japan could ever produce:

Ain't that a fact FT but you forgot something. Where's the Mopar line of haulin' ass muscle cars?

america has good cars.

That is the definition of bitchin'!:thumbup

A lot of things folks have said already but I'd add as well - accents. The rich variety of accents are quite appealing. Of course, the men have nice accents but I am mainly referring to the ladies naturally :)

Some are fairly average though - but I've rarely been disappointed going by the voice thread.

Scenery and national parks. I've only been to a few places but by golly - Joshua National Tree Park was frikking awesome. Loved it. There's *lots* more where that came from I'm sure.

The cars... been mentioned of course but yeah, I'm liking the crazy outlandish styling of some of the older cars. Some just look cool for sure but some are just a little bit mad but strangely appealing - e.g. the Plymouth Superbird:

We dont have accents lol well maybe the Southern folks do haha :p

Naturally, it's all different to me and mostly good :D

I can't get over why the ladies seems to like the British accent so much though. Rather odd.

Anyway, this thread is about America - not Brits so I'll sully it not further with such talk!

I don't think I mentioned the food - but I'm one of those who love it. Love the big portions - I could eat a massive breakfast, lunch and supper if allowed to.

The variety I found quite astonishing over there in terms of the different types of restaurants and themed restaurants even. Two that stick out in my mind were PF Changs and The Melting Pot.
