Funny how many people use this as an argument against abortion.

So when someone is in an auto accident... they're doing the 'time' for their 'crime'? Just because it's possible, doesn't mean it should happen, nor should people have to just live with it. I can only imagine what it would be like to go up to someone and say... "Oh your Dad is dead? Oh well a known side effect of living is death, so he's now doing his time for his crime. Sucks to be you." :smiley24:

Sex isn't a crime... it's natural... just like breathing. There are those of us, like those who like to drive without having an auto accident, that do not want to have a child, but still want to enjoy all of the benefits of sex (as we all should, regardless).

So... try a better argument... something that makes more sense.

You know the risk of driving though, right? You know you could end up having an accident, right? When I get into a vehicle, I know I could be opening myself to those risks, just like when I have sex. In a car, I use my safety belt, because I know it reduces the risk, but doesn't negate it totally... when having sex, I could choose to use birth control for the same reasons.

I don't set foot on a boat of any kind, because there is a risk I may end up drowning... I'd prefer not to, so I 'abstain' from boat rides.

The argument does make sense, it's about known risk, and weighing up your odds.

but on the flip-side, birth control isn't always effective (i.e. condoms) either. they can break, tear, fall off, etc. and that's why there is such a thing like plan b for those cases. and also why you should check the condom after you're through. sounds gross, but hey, it's worth it!

OMG girl i am the exact same way. i was a raging BITCH earlier. hahahaha. after a few smoke breaks, and laughter, i feel a little better. tomorrow (monday) night will be night 3 in a row for me then i'm off two THANK GOD. ugh. LOL.

yep... this morning when I left work I was so pissed that everyother word was the "F" word... cussing, my blood pressure was probably thru the roof... I couldn't even sleep I was so mad (and over some stupid wench lying at work to the supervisor... just a stupid lil thing)

and was still pissed about it tonight when I got here! lol

maybe I need to start taking my meds again huh?

Neither are safety belts, crumple zones and airbags... but they reduce the risk. You still know there might be consequences.

HAHAHA that's how i was when i got off this morning. couldn't sleep for crap! hopefully when i get off tonight it'll be better. i hope your night is going okay now!

and LOL my mom said the same thing when i was venting to her!
