Ok I had to use Gimp with this one because my cloning tool wouldnt work anymore with Paint.Net. This is my first time using Gimp and I got a little help of what tools to use from dk. I'm going to show you the before and after picture this time. I had to change the sky because I just couldnt get the sky right with cloning. I dont know why. Any opinions on why after using the cloning tool it looked totally shopped will be greatly appreciated. I am though happy with the way it came out. I would have preferred not to use so many tools. Ok here they are..

And After...

Big Thanks to dk for help with what tools to use to get the end product!!!

great job on the sky, all I see is the part of the house that was covered by the pole looks off.

You could use the clone tool to remove some of the remnants of the lines and cut marks. But remember to clone from areas of the sky that are horizontally in line. As the shade of colour in skies changes on a vertical gradiant,

Thank you! Its hard for me to see when I'm doing this so I will try and see where they are and fix it. Thanks Tuff!

practice is what makes perfect

SO that's why it looked shopped because I cloned the lines?

its getting there

what i said about playing with it is right, the more you play the better you get
What do you see that I have left to do with it? I just did a sunset that had a thick wire going across it which came out ok I guess, It's hard cuz I was using Paint.Net and had to switch to Gimp. This is the 1st time I've used Gimp.

And dex what do you see wrong that you posted what you did? I'm curious....

i'm not saying theres anything wrong with your efforts, but as you do more you'll do harder things.thats when playing pays off....and if you end up like me you'll be your own worst critic.....i'm like that with every picture i take

Ok I understand what youre saying. I just posted the photo shopped sunset on FB and I got 3 people who said it looks good. I had to take out a very thick wire and a house that was in front of trees. So I must be doing something right. I'll keep trying to pick harder pictures. Thanks Ian!

I had another go at it this time with Paint.Net. Siph taught me some things and I got all of the poles way in back and the wires way in back. And I didn't change the sky after cloning. I have a slight discoloration and will work on that. Thanks Siph!!! Here it is...
