I can't believe I'm doing this considering what I always say about people who do this exact thing (say they're leaving but come back and post later).......

BUT...Cod wasn't banned for his avatar. He was banned for his repeated violation of rules regarding that avatar. He was given several warnings first and, instead of playing nice, he chose to push the envelope in an attempt to get banned. He made MANY comments in the week prior about trying to get banned.

Banning Cod was a difficult decision, but he left me no choice. A discussion I'm fairly certain you and I had in private. But I'm good with being the face that's placed on this site's demise. It does not bother me, for the most part, and while I'm sad to see the site go I feel, as I have told V, that it was long overdue.

As of 3 minutes ago the site has reached it's bid request. I hope the new owners can get it back to an active, fun forum like it used to be.

Tho, I don't speak for Cod. He very well may have refused an offer of a refund. He's like that.

I guess it's still who you are that determines which rules apply to which people.

I've said it before, but I really don't think any forum should have a VIP section. Everyone should be treated the same. Even a donator should not have special access. To me, that is where the forum divides and what causes many problems.

I asked to be removed from VIP and even posted to Springer's Twitter requesting such. I'm not an admin anymore...I have no access to remove myself. I can't control the actions of current admins, and those who have been here can clearly see that Fred is the only active staff member. He doesn't have access to those buttons.

Thank you. It was made in the VIP area. I'm doing well. Finally got moved to Massachusetts. V got promoted to my old Sergeant's spot. I'm working in Customer Service for Porsche at this time.
