Occupy... YOUR FACE! With getting a job! Occupy yourself with earning an honest living like the majority of us do! don't occupy yourself with sitting in a park chanting and moping about how x conglomerate is the economical downfall of your city/the US/the world, about how x and x companies have caused you financial hardships.

Just sayin'

Ive work hard for my money
Ive worked hard to provide the best I can for my family
I have been affected by the financial turmoil that took place in the housing financial world
Ive endured the hardships that the current state of the economy brings...

i just choose to keep going, not sit in a park whining about it and looking for someone to blame.

Apparently you have no idea what these world wide protests are all about.
It doesn't piss you off at all that those who have created your turmoil in the financial market have been made whole by the tax dollars you paid as a result of your hard work?
And it's great that you still have a job that you can work hard at. But what about those places in the US that have been devastated by the loss of their livelihood? 50,000 factories gone... where do those people go to find work? There are millions more people looking for jobs than there are jobs available. It doesn't how hard of a worker or how dedicated you are if there are no jobs available.
These protests are not about the jobless, these protests are all about the crony capitalism that has benefited a few and has devastated the middle class. It's about the politicians writing laws to allow the theft of trillions of our dollars.

Nobody is asking for a hand out and if you think that's what it's about, then you have been misinformed.

That's the real world and real life consequences of organized society. People that donnot have power protest against it. People that have it exploit it. Aren't we sick.

I'm pretty sure it's about time we Americans stand up for what's right and let our government know it needs to stop.
I work damn hard for my money too, but I don't think it's wrong for them to be standing up for what we deserve!

We have exactly what we deserve for decade after decade of electing and re-electing the same people who have been sodomizing us via their political power. We HAVE the power to effect change in our collective hands, we've chosen to use it very poorly. I would support the Occupy movement IF there was actual, tangible political dialogue coming from it. If the organizers could identify specific changes they want to occur and specific actions they want people to take to make them happen. I have heard none of that.

Not trying to be confrontational here, but You may be part of the problem you describe then. You could easily learn what the Occupy Movement is all about, but instead, you choose to say things like:

I would support the Occupy movement IF there was actual, tangible political dialogue coming from it.

The dialouge is loud and clear if you would only listen. Neal Boortz is not a good source of information about the movement, BTW.

"Occupy" is doing what other movements like the TEA Party tried to do - but all the TP wound up doing was reelecting people like Michelle Bachman and Eric Cantor and the rest of the SOS GOP field. They were co-opted post haste by the RNC and their moneyed lobbyists. You do not get change by electing the same old people regardless of party.

Occupy is primarily about educating the public about the $$TRILLIONS$$ our government took from us - the taxpayers - and gave to the banks that they (the government) deregulated to the point of leagalizing the criminality of writing bad mortgages, and then knowingly selling those bad mortgages to the unknowing public, hidden deep within our 401K's, IRA's and retirement funds.

This video makes many good points about OWS and all the naysayers:

See, he made two mistakes. 1. Getting cancer; I mean hello! Make better choices! 2. Getting a job that PAID minimum wage instead of maximum wage. Get a good paying job with benefits; so what there aren't jobs. Make one by starting a small business! You know, selling things to unemployed people.

Yea lets not take into consideration all of those who didn't have a voice until recently so they are finally speaking up. Lets not take into consideration that we have tried electing officials we were hoping could do the trick. Lets not take into consideration that it takes a long time to fix something that is so very badly fucked up. It takes time to fix things, and sometimes it takes a movement to speed up those things getting fixed.

It will take a while to weed out the bad politicians.

Unfortunately they are groomed at the local level and except for a small percentage of voters local stuff gets overlooked. IMO

I have to ask....what do you mean by the bolded bit? Are you saying he chose to get cancer, or did I just read it wrong.
