President Obama attended church services religiously (pardon the pun) before he was elected. I don't know about now.
Romney showed no religious wackery as governor nor as Olympics chairman, so far as I've heard. There's no reason to believe he'd be different as president.

There are real, rational reasons you voted the way you did, regardless that I still think you were crazy for doing so. List those.
