I want all of you to tell your children that dragons are real.

I'm not against fantasy at all, I love fantasy. BUT there is a difference between engaging in fantasy with a child and telling them it is REAL.You mean to imply that you would never engage in fantasy with a child? So don't read them any bed-time stories. Laugh at them when they want you to check for monsters under the bed or in the closet.
Shit I was never told santa wasnt real...it just slowly faded with me. Why not let them believe in santa...why is it up to a commercial to tell them santas not real. It brings some of the joy to children and innocence of youth
I am glad the judge ruled as such. Its one thing for a single person to tell a child santa isnt real...another thing for a corporation/company whatever to say it.
let kids be kids...and have everything that goes along with it. Thats what i say.

Little Boometta, I am going to read you a story. It's about Cinderella. She was poor, but that's only because of the fucked up government. She didn't have a gown to wear to the Ball, but if the economy was better, we could afford good clothes in America rather than importing them from China. She was in love with the Prince, but he was like all the other rich folks and was only interested in paying less taxes. She lost her glass slipper, but don't worry. I am sure Welfare will pick up the tab. The moral of the story, little Boometta...is that you can get what you what through hard work, but don't count on that fairy Godmother, she's as evil as believing that any supreme being can help you.
Its becoming a pattern with you about dodging points.AEF with his kid, a la 2017...
Setting up false belief systems is counterproductive to a child's development.I think she made her point. All fantasy play is telling yourself (or a child) that something fictitious is real! It can help to develop a childs mind by using their imagination! Pretending is as important as actually doing!!!
yes but as they grow...even when they find out that santa isnt real..it will teach them that things arent always as they seem....and it will be ok in the end. And it will also teach them that its ok to have fantasies....shit i used to leave a letter for santa every year for a few years in a row...begging him to take me on a sleigh ride and let me help him deliver the presents looking back on how it made me feel...i will not hesitate to keep that belief alive in my daughter for as long as possibleSetting up false belief systems is counterproductive to a child's development.
Having an imagination is fine, as long as they know what they are imagining about is totally fake.
Seriously, I want all of you to tell your children that dragons are real, and you can summon them with mere belief and imagination, to grant them three wishes that will come true, and state it as fact.

Yes. It shows that you are willing to lie to them about stupid stuff.Oh bullshit.. Seriously now.. You really think that telling kids that Santa is real will be counterproductive to their development?
Now I agree with you on a lot of other things, but my god you are full of it sometimes..
Its becoming a pattern with you about dodging points.
