I think Price played a hell of a great game and was for whatever the Bruins threw in front of him. Bruins need to get tough, fight for rebounds and make the most of their chances or they will be swept from underneath themselves.

I spend 90% of that game in class watching scoreboards (it took all I could do not to skip lol), so I didn't see the penalties but my boyfriend said it was crazy.
Good... it was damn disrespectful for him to throw it out there during the national anthem. Tradition be damned. Wait... so tripping and hooking weren't penalties during the regular season? Oh, and swinging your stick at someone's head wasn't either? That's three of the penalties right there. The slashing call against us was legit, as was the second hooking call against you guys.
The one that pisses me off was the non-penalty that led to your third goal... it was bullshit and everyone knew it. Especially after we got called for holding the stick just a little bit earlier in that period. Then another Wing tried to pull the same shit at the beginning of the resulting PP.
I'll fully admit that Byrz gave up some horrible goals. The first one I don't think he could've done anything about, but the shot just across the blue line after some horrible play by our defense should've been blocked, the same with your fourth goal.

Back in the late 70's at the old arena the Olympia I saw something really funny. That place you were right on top of the ice. The rows were very steep. The first two levels had the best sight lines anywhere to watch a game. Anyhow the Wings had just got into the playoffs for the first time in years. My buddies father had season tickets so we went to the opening game which was against the Atlanta Flames. We are about 3/4 the way up the 2nd level at about the blue line. Directly across the ice from about the same level somebody threw out what had to be a 30" long 20 pound fish. It was surrealistic watching that as it seemed like it was in slow motion. Fortunately it did not land on anybody.
As to your whining about them stopping the octopus throwing I have no problem. But a large fine is absurd.

I don't remember what it was that he did last year, but he just annoyed the fuck out of me during that series. Regardless of whether or not Doan is a fair player... it was still a pussy move on Abdelkader's part. I'm not too sure about the Osgood situation...last I heard he would be ready to backup for the playoffs. We likely won't get Zetty back until game 5 so that is a disadvantage as well.

He said they typically try to avoid it and just hold the people for a few minutes and then kick them out of the building. He said the NHL has made a point of wanting more done and that the city had to pass on copies of the paperwork so they know the police is doing everything they can. What a bunch of bullshit.
