How unusual it is that the Pope has died. No one expected him to die this year, but it happened. There is now a new Pope, if I understand correctly, who is American, right?

I didn't see an American pope coming in. I am waiting patiently to see the side that Pope Leo XIV would align to. Would he push for gay marriages like his predecessor?
