So I just thought about something b/c I'll be hosting the next round...as the host, are we to abstain from voting??? I hope not...I love voting on these competitions.

I guess the issue would be the lack of anonymity?

There's no reason you can't vote as the host. The host may know who the pics belong to but they still have every right to pick one they want to vote for

That's what I was thinking. I will say, though, that there are certain people whose photos I can ALWAYS pick out, regardless. And I always vote for the one that catches my eye the most, anyway.

One distinct photo. If the photo is composed in such a way that it appears as though there are two or more separate distinct photos - that is fine (but ultimately it's up to the host to judge this), but no - no collages etc

IMHO, unless composed well - such photos can end up being distracting with multiple points of focus to draw the viewer's attention to - especially if the composition contains disparate elements.
