:eek It's a Thai noodle dish cooked with honey & eggs & chopped up peanuts, so it's got a salty-sweet thing going on... usually has various vegetables mixed in, and either chicken, shrimp, or both.

I always thought that's what it tasted like they used in the sauce to sweeten it... but I looked up a couple of recipes and it looks like it's traditionally just straight sugar. So my bad! LOL
