Baking cupcakes cuz it took me out of my shitty attitude today! Gave some to the neighbors and sent some with my youngest when he went to his dads.

I may not eat them but they are fun to bake.

That you can't think of at least one thing to be happy about. And that you think life sucks.

I've had lots of downs and felt unhappy and lost..... but the rest of the time I've got lots of things to be happy about. Even small things.

Can you see? Watch a sunrise or a sunset.

Can you hear? Listen to a song you like and hear the words.

Can you breath? You're alive man.

Don't rely on others to make you happy or give you reason. Find a reason or a cause and jump in.

That's what I mean.

So you want me to get out and make a difference in someone's life or help someone with their groceries? I hate doing that for people. It's pointless.

No. You should go out and make a difference in your life. If making a difference in another's life or helping one with their groceries would do that, then so be it. Find a niche. Do a little testing and see what does it for you.

Did you know that even a smile from a stranger can make a person's day? Holding the door? Saying thank you? Little stuff really.

Even if you don't want to smile and feel pissed at the world...... why take it out on a fellow human. Force a smile if you have to..... really.... it makes all the difference.

You came on to OTz and posted. I am a member of OTz. I don't feel the need to change you so much as see the need for you the change yourself.

Yes.... you don't seem cheerful right now. We all have ups and downs.

I don't see her trying to change you. I see her explaining why she said what she said. If you have an issue then that's not her fault for explaining things.

Also anyone can play this lost/hurt/nothing to be happy about attitude, but it's all just a ploy everyone is happy at some point in their life about something specific.

Hell some people are happy being sad people. That's their choice. As long as they don't drag others into their funk.
