My public speaking was to gain a degree, it was in front of hundreds of people and it WAS something I had dreamed of obtaining my whole life...so I prepared.
having the same rights as straight people means being being able to wed like straight people... Am I missing something? Your logic is flawed...
It was still in front of millions of people, and some people are just naturally better at staying calm and public speaking...
And you can't really prepare yourself for questions, they can be anything... from my public speaking experience, answering questions is a lot harder then reciting a speech... but that's just the way it is for me.
:24::24:well there you go...you just answered yourself
A miss Universe or whatever HAS to be a good communicator/public speaker and overcome any nerves...she wasnt and didnt therefore, she didnt win.
They also have to be diplomatic...her answer, even though it was honest, wasnt.
She can go back to her loving "country" :24: and they will console her.
true... Shed of got her ass chewed out worse if shed been fake.I respect that she was honest instead of just pandering.
it was a speech, with question time afterwards....dont assume
Well was it just one question and one chance to get it right? or was it several? How important was it to your score?
I think you could try to prepare for something like that and probably still be a little over whelmed by it all.
But in the end...who cares. She's getting waaaayy more publicity than the winner got.
