It was really fun to go out and dance to Michael Jackson all weekend :(

Regardless of his legal issues, he made awesome music and no one can deny him of that!

He was acquitted.

If you read earlier in this thread or a few of the others, you will find a very good post explaining the jury was instructed to ignore evidence of previous behavior, meaning Jackson's settlement with another boy.

Since he had already been sued once, and settled, why would an innocent, or even sane man ever put himself in the same position again?

At the risk of tooting my own horn:

That's the beauty of not being on a jury, and being allowed to take in the totality of the evidence. See, the jury in his trial was instructed not to consider the fact that MJ had previously settled out of court for the same charges. This was done because taking in prior information like that is considered prejudicial against the defendant.

Since I'm not on the jury, I can look at everything in his life and not just the specific details for the crime that he was found innocent. And I say that if he wasn't a child molester, he was at least a pedophile. I reach this judgment based on the fact that he built a theme park, had a pet monkey, slept in the same room with several small children repeatedly, and of course the annoying little fact that small children were able to describe the appearance of his genitalia in minute detail.

:D
