I'm not quite following your correlation here... since people aren't showing the "proper" respect for Michael Jackson, therefore the media feeds our society? Not entirely certain how that makes any sense, but okay.

If the media drove my thoughts I would be out crying in the streets at the loss of somebody who I never met and who lived a life 99.9% of us are unfamiliar with.
I can not grieve for a pedophile. Sorry but I don't work that way. There is a difference between that and getting joy out of his death which it appears was a result of nothing other than a rich mans suicide.

He is no different that OJ to me. And when OJ dies, I'll be happy that a murderer is finally where he should have been all along. Same with Michael.

I can separate the two. He was a great entertainer. One for the ages. Same as OJ was a great athlete.
But away from it they were both despicable people for all appearances. With Jackson I can have some sympathy because he had a fucked up family. But that is no excuse. If he had stopped the shit with kids after the first incident in 1993 I might buy he was totally innocent. Shit he may have never fondled a kid but it is beyond abnormal at those ages to be having sleep overs with kids in your bed. Those Fucking parents are equally scum and I would never let my kid associate with those families for sure
