Manchester United 3-1 Tottenham

Back to the top of the table (for 24 hours at least) with a deserved win over North London's second team. Opened the scoring from a penalty after Assou-Ekotto clumbsily tripped Nani leading to Ryan Giggs slotting home the penalty. A suprising equaliser from Ledley King changed matters, although the goal might have been disallowed because King pushed Carrick. However a Nani chip put us back in front before a second penalty was awarded after Palacios clumbsily tripped Nani, and Giggs swapped sides but the result was the same.

Sunderland 0-1 Manchester United

Fairly comfortable win. Nani with the goal just shy of the half hour. Berbatov wasted a few good chances in either half and others missed, but the important thing was to win and that's achieved, and leaves us with a chance, albeit a really unlikely chance, of winning the Title.

Manchester United 4-0 Stoke City

A win...but not enough in terms of winning the Title. Good win though and a good way to round off the season. Fletcher with the first goal on the half hour and when Ryan Giggs got the second before half time the game was over. Danny Higgingbotham finally scored for us.....in a Stoke shirt to make it 3-0 before Ji Sung Park made it 4.

Just not enough this season. We'll be back next season.
