We've got our resort... Now just planning for what to do and when to do it. So much to do.. So many things to see.. Trying to allow enough time for everything and figure when the best time to do what is tough! :surrender
Try not to plan as much as possible...
It's a vacation... be spontanious! :willy_nilly:
I didn't enjoy Disney... Universal Studios is so much better (even for the kids).
There are certain things at Disney that you can't be spontanious about. You have to reserve ahead if you want to participate. I like Universal and all but it pales in comparison to what Disney has to offer. We are diffinately going to Universal but that will only take up one day of our 15 day trip. Everything else is Disney.
The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios, are all amazing parks. Sure they may not have all the thrill rides of Universal and other places. It's just the atmosphere. Classic rides like The Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain.. Those rides are great. Disney is an experience in itself.
I've never been to Animal Kingdom. The last time I was at Disney was 1991, Splash Mountain was still being built, Disney Hollywood Studios (previously MGM) was brand new. My wife has NEVER been to Disney, but she loves all that stuff.
So far we have a Character breakfast at Chef Mickey's (Contemporary resort), we have a Character lunch at Crystal Palace in The Magic Kingdom, we have Cirque Dis Solai (sp?) tickets in Downtown Disney, We have the Animal Kingdom back stage tour booked, We have Disney's Keys to the Kingdom tour booked, We also have Dinner and Fantasmic booked at Hollywood Studios.
That sounds like so much fun. I have never been. I brought it up to my kids last summer and they were both like, nah....I don't want to. My son hates rides, my daughter thinks she's too old! She's 12!!! I told them they were no fun at all..lol
Anyway I feel your pain about planning. I have to plan every detail of everything or I am freaking out. Spontaneous I can be, but not when I'm going away from home. I need the safety net of knowing what's going on. I think I'm actually a little OCD about stuff like that![]()
Wow kids turing down Disney World? I can't wait to go an I'm 27...
I know! See they aren't any fun - I was trying to talk them in to it because I want to go too and I got nearly ten years on you!

La Nouba was the first Cirque du Soleil show I went to. It was wonderful. I've been to Disney more times than I can count and I've never done half that stuff.
