Making One Thing Clear

Let me make one thing clear. Just because a guy gives you a compliment does not mean he is hitting on you. This is what people in their late 30's and 40's know because they have experience life, not just begining it.

I will not give out visual compliments, because I see this is not a mature board. (Meaning experience life completely)

Don't get me wrong, I respect all of you, but we all go through stages in life.

Most of you are at the party stage because you really still don't have the responsabilities that older people aquire. Have kids and providing for them is a good start.

i think you should give it more than a week before you start judging the people on this forum , yes some times their some people that can't get along with others or can't take a joke but as a whole this is a great forum with great mods , oh and most are very caring when someone is feeling down, i'm 52 and have alot of fun here.

I never judge others by one action. Please read what I'm say and don't get angry and jump to conclusions. It took me a month (25 hours) to find a forum that I felt the people were fun and I could get to know. I would not be here writing right now if I didn't think or respect you guys. I would be continuing my search!

I'm 24, I rarely party and I have more responsibilities (spelled correctly even) than you apparently think I do.

There are several people on this board with kids that are my age, and slightly older. lol

I agree with Homer, you've been here so shortly and you're judging us as 'immature' (in so many words), because we come on this board to get away from responsibility and fuck around?

Man oh man. I'd love to be at that no responsibility party part - can i give you my bills so I can go party?

I do know one thing though - the more judgmental you are towards people, the more you'll push them away. Especially me, I hate being judged.

i know a whole lot of 30-40 year olds who are less responsible than i am.. yes-i party ON THE WEEKENDS... i dont go to work drunk.. i dont have kids, but that doesnt mean i dont know how to be responsible.. i have lived on my own since i graduated high school (by choice) and im quite sure the building would have crumbled to the ground by now if i werent responsible.. so please dont label me.. i dont like it.. you will never catch me on here labeling people, so id appreciate the same in return.. i come on here, like most people, to putz around and bullshit.. i dont wanna hear how irresponsible we all are...

skippy, there is no need to call me out on here...i took your compliment the first time you gave it to me, when someone is persistant in complimenting my looks in teh manner you did i take it as someone hitting on me. what if my boyfriend were behind me reading the pm you sent me? i wont post it here as i dont believe it is anyone else's business, hence the word private in private message. There is nothing more to be said here.

For one thing, imature people always take offense to everything. They are just not mature enough to see the true meaning of what a person is saying. They are too wrapped up in their emotions.

Come on people. How many time have I got to say that. I like and respect you guys from what I've read.

You are know making me consider otherwise. You would never get this type of response from older people. But, older people on the other side of things don't have the fun and sense of humar as younger people do.

skippy, if you had a problem with the things i said you could have come straight to me. I'm sorry if you took them as mean or offensive, but you have to understand that we being the decent looking women that we are on this board are probably hit on constantly online, and it can get pretty annoying. I thank you for anything that was a compliment, and I'm sorry if I didn't seem to take it as such, but all I did was point out to you that I had a boyfriend and that I thought it was lame that someone who was married (which i misunderstood, you later told me you are not) would go around and hit on women online, because I'd never do that to my boyfriend. I think you are the one who lacks maturity in this situation by bringing it public. I didn't really think what I said was all that mean in the first place. If a guy hits on me, I let him know thanks, but no thanks...and I see abso-fucking-lutely nothing wrong with that...am i right ladies?
