it really wasnt much more than "its a security system". In season 4, towards the end you know its controlled when Ben uses it to distract/kill the soldiers after they kill his daughter/wife.

You dont see Ben himself on camera do it (atleast I dont THINK it did), but he did run off, and then he said run to the forst on his mark. When they ran to the forst, the smoke guy destroyed the soldiers. This is after the main mercenary shot his daughter

I am addicted to this show!!! I did not watch it until the second season, but i caught up with it when i went on deployment. An 8 month deployment on a ship, gives you plenty of time to catch up on whatever show you want to watch.

I cannot wait for the next season to start up. I catch myself watching old episodes to get my fix on ABC. I also go to these forums to catch up on rumors and even some spoilers. I try to stay out of the spoiler section so i do not ruin it for myself, but sometimes it to hard. I want answers!!!!

Well, the writing strike obviously hurt one of the seasons, but to be honest Im looking forawrd to the conclusion. Im pretty sure the writers didnt expect teh amount of success the show has had. I think it shows when you look a season 1, and look at present. How much the story line has DRASTICALLY changed...down to earth to more of a "magical"/"sci-fi" show.

Its not for everyone thats for sure, but I've toughed it out thru the slow seasons and now its gotten really good again. The season finale was very cool.

I've been watching from day one and theres still plenty I don't get. But they explain things little by little and kinda drag you along. Its really a good show.
