I wish I had a great answer to this question, because it's so common... But I don't. I have never been inlove, only 'liked' people more than friends, but now I feel this connection to someone, and I think I'm falling for him - but he is asexual. Usually I'm not easy when it comes to feelings, and this one time that I actually feel something for someone, he's asexual. Haha. Typical, isn't it? For some reason I can't let him go, either, so... Yeah. Sucks.

All we can do is move on, even if we're still hoping that he might change his mind, we have to deal with the situation and face the reality at the time. No matter how hard it is, it's better to move on and do something instead of wasting your time wandering around hoping that he's going to change his mind, right? Cause maybe he will, just don't expect it to happen.. You might end up even more disappointed and depressed than before.

It'll hurt now, but you'll just have to face it and move on. I'm saying she's not your life if she leaves you that mean she doesn't care and if she doesn't then why should you? There'll be someone that fit you, I mean I haven't had a girlfriend for like almost 2 years, and I want one. It kills me that I'm always feeling so lonely and depressed.

How do you go on?
It sounds impossible to me right now

(Because Old Threads are Better than some New Threads)

I suppose one cannot truly move on in a sense when losing a loved one. Though it is different when someone is abandoned by someone they once loved. Though the pain must be the same in the beginning. I do not know how you lost the love of you life whether it have been due to her leaving or passing on, but I too have lost a loved one though it was in death. I spent and still do spend a lot of time tormenting my whole existence, but in that torment I have found a small purpose in life. I try my best to help those around me. I try to enjoy the littlest things in life. I try to be human once again. It is pointless at times because I know that I can never erase the nightmares, the memories, and my love. The best one can do is to try and start on a new path in life and realize that the one you have lost would want you to find happiness once again. I know...words so easily spoken and yet so hard to act upon. I know you shall move on though. I am sure you have it within you to find happiness as you venture down the road that is life. Just be sure to keep your eyes open. Remember, moving on does not mean you have to let go of all the memories and that loved one's essence. It is best to keep them in your heart so they may live on through you in a sense. I wish at times I could heed my own advice. I do not know why I do not though. Perhaps it is different for most people. To lose a loved one because of life itself or because you might have been the reason behind it all. I hope you find peace in your life overall. I know this post is a bit late, but perhaps it shall enlighten someone else whom is seeking answers in the future. Perhaps.

My wife is moving out on me today

So I got nothing for ya

Some day I might learn to eat again

Since this thread got an update............

I am a lot calmer than over a year ago.........

Wife did file originally and then let it expire

No idea what the future holds for me

But I am in a lot better state than back over a year ago

Thanks again for those who responded.

Glad to hear it AA. But why would someone bring up such an old post? Weird.......

Simply to offer an opinion no matter how much time has gone by in a sense. I suppose one has no interest in the current threads as of late. Besides, who knows whom might come back to this thread seeking advice. Anything is possible.

I found this part strange. There are lots of threads.... old and new..... that are active.

I was merely making a reference to myself and why I revive old threads. I do not find most of the new threads that interesting in my opinion. Some tend to venture off topic while others are sidetracked by petty arguments. Others have no "angle" to them other than the hint at that someone might have been truly bored when creating a thread. Though that is the way of things on the internet.

Good to see that one is doing well since then.
