I got a phone call this evening from Bailey. Not sure if you all are familiar with Bailey, but they are a company who makes Cowboy hats and shirts. They want to sponsor me in a rodeo in Feb. They are willing to offer me $4,600 to just wear their colors and that is free and clear. I told them I was too old to do that anymore and they said to me which I tell everyone "Cowboy Up". lol They are also going to give me a hat and I have to wear a patch on my vest which says Bailey. Woooopeeeee! Bailey is not a top of the line as far as western wear, but the $4,600 doesn't sound bad. The only problem is it is a $2,000 entry fee. So if I could win I could make $62,000 or just make the $4,600 which minus the $2,000 for the entry fee I would only make $2,600 for the 4 days. I am guessing that that isn't bad. Plus, even if I don't take the buckle, I could end up with some good cash as they pay the cowboys on down the line as to where they finish.
