And think about it this way...they probably paid a crapload of money for those darn cans and want to show residents how their tax dollars are being used.

Pretty cool looking trash cans. It may not be the best thing to invest their money into, but if the goal is to help make the city more appealing to the eye, it's a step in the right direction.

Are they just for city use or will residents be able to use them as well? I do wonder how nice they will look after a few trash days. I don't know about your city, but the people who p/u our trash usually just throw the trash cans once they empty them.
