Okay, I've never heard that so I've got to ask...flea collar to put in the vacuum???

Yep, to kill whatever fleas get sucked up in the canister. I'm desperate lol.

I'm struggling to keep fleas off my pomeranian. Last month I saw one on him with some flea dirt, so I gave him a bath, washed all our bedding and his toys, vacuumed with flea powder, put Advantage on him and thought I should be all set. He kept itching the whole month, but I would check him EVERY DAY and could not find a single flea, bite, flea dirt, nothing...I thought he was crazy. A couple nights ago I saw three fleas. I repeated everything again...I just want this to stop. Ugh!

Have you tried Comfortis??? It's a little expensive (we pay $17 a pill for the higher weight), but it works. We've had Shadow on it for over a year and haven't had any problems. W/in hours you'll see dead fleas dropping off your dog.

I haven't, I don't take him to the vet :( I am thinking about biting the bullet and trying something like that if this doesn't stop. I've had pets for 20 years and only had fleas on them once before this. So frustrating. Poor guy.

May I offer a suggestion? This link shows what FleaStoppers looks like. You may find a cheaper price, but make sure this is the product you're buying.

Y
ou sprinkle it on your carpet then broom it all the way down. It's a bit of work and you should use a mask and have the windows open. But, it's worth the price and the effort. The powder stops the flea eggs from hatching. They suggest once a year. In my experience, it lasts longer - even when I'd shampoo the carpets as it gets down past the pile.

Once you treat the floors w/this continue to comb and bathe but soon you will see a rapid decrease in fleas. If one rides in from outside, it's going to die and it's eggs will die too. The cycle stops without having to use more than FleaShampoo on your pup.:cool

Thanks Moonie, that looks good too. I will look into these treatments, thanks both.
I know that the issue is coming from outside. My mom has so many flower beds, but since the cancer she hasn't been able to walk and my dad and I are so busy things are overgrown...flea city. I should spray outside, but I might wait until the spring to do that and just focus on inside the house while it's cold.

4 dark green resin Adirondack chairs from work. Marked down today for $1.67 each. How could I say "No"? I love when we do clearance. I'd never get a deal like that at the 'other' big box stores.

*wonders if the gas grills will go the same way* *waits patiently* (last year a $350 grill went for $3.50)
