Is that a recommendation, or should I wait for the U.S. version?
I recommend the Swedish version since Noomi Rapace plays in all 3 and she was really into the role (I watched her interview on the DVD after I watched the film). She spent approx 8 months getting into physical and mental shape for the role.

Her performance was the only reason I stayed with the movie (152 minutes). I'm a Tartantino fan so I'm use to violence in films but this one pushed the envelope, so to speak.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was good, I know they have it in the US too, they've got it at the videostore here.
